Deceased: Gayle Adair Carter

After a wonderful life Gayle Adair Carter passed away at the age of 69 in her home surrounded by those who loved her, October 9, 2014.

Gayle was born January 25, 1945 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The greatest love of her life was Charles G. Carter. They were sealed in the LDS Oakland Temple. Together they had five wonderful children and 10 amazing grandchildren. She was number 6 of 7 kids. Family was everything to Gayle. Gayle loved to serve others and held many callings in her church were she was able to serve and help others. She also went back to nursing school and loved being able to serve those around her. Gayle was a very talented dancer and taught many people how to dance over the years. Even when she was unable to walk you could see her tapping her feet to the sound of the beat. Surviving are her children, Kelly, Bryan, Robbyn and Jaime. Grandkids, Taylor, Jordan, Morgan, Gillian, Brennden, Madeline, Christian, Brighten, Andersen and Evan. Sisters Joyce, Janice and Candy. Services are 10:00 a.m. October 13, 2014 at the Oak Hills LDS Chapel, 14885 NW West Union, Portland OR 97229. That afternoon there will be a gravesite service at Findley Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Portland.
