I last saw Bob Long at Apache lanes when he was on emergency leave to attend the funeral of his sister(early 1965)He was stationed in Berlin,Germany, but was being reassigned to Viet Nam.He was killed soon after arriving in Nam.I have fond memories of pushing his 1957 Corvette down Main St.(1962)He didn't have the $ for a new battery.Those were great days during simple times.
