March 4, 2013 I was sad to hear of Mike’s passing, so long afterwards. He and I hung out a lot in our sophomore and junior years. He was a great guy who was always friendly to everyone. I’ll never forget his goal to break the school sit-up record with over 700 repetitions without stopping. I can’t remember the exact number or if he actually broke the record, but what an effort. Mike and I didn’t see each other much after I got a girl friend late in our junior year. That was my loss.
