Vickie Sharon Maggard, age 62,
Passed away April 15, 2008.
She was born April 20, 1945 in Mesa,
Arizona. Vickie was the eighth child
of WiIIiam Marion and Mary Agnes
Thompson. Vickie married Darrell
Maggard of Gilbert on October 9, 1964
They raised two children and spent the
majority of their married Chandler, Arizona.
In addition raising her children Vickie worked
in the semiconductor field for twenty five years.
Vickie is survived by her daughter Sheila Maggard.
Vickie and I met at East Mesa Jr. High in 7th grade. We became very close friends from that time. We had a lot of fun times together, crusing main street in Mesa,and going to Riverside dance on South Central in Phoenix. I have a lot of good memories of the two of us. We worked at the "Pioneer Drive In Theater" together. My sister and Vickie's brother are married, so really we were family. I will miss Vickie so much but I do have all our good memories. I do miss you VICKIE.
