BONNIE LEE HAMBLIN
1945-05-25 2011-02-04Bonnie Lee Hatch Hamblin, born May 25th 1945 to Ivan and Elda Hatch in Prescott, AZ, passed away February 4, 2011. Bonnie was an amazing Mother, Wife and Friend. Her true charity and tenderness brightened the world. She cherished her husband and eternal partner, Dale R. Hamblin. As a faithful member of the LDS church, she loved serving in the Mesa Temple. She enjoyed working with the youth and sharing her creativity and cooking talents in the Relief Society. She was a social butterfly, brilliant and pure. Wonderful memories will be preserved by her children: Michelle Stagg, Jennifer Green and Paul Scott. Bonnie's marriage to Dale added seven more children to the flock: Mark, Mimi, Tim, Terry, Carolyn, Russell and Patrick. She loved them each as her own. Bonnie delighted in her role as a Grandma with over 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and growing. We will miss her bright smile and await her warm embrace, when we meet again. A Viewing for Bonnie will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 6-8:00 PM at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 North Macdonald, Mesa. A Funeral will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Three Fountains LDS Ward Building, 1852 North Stapley, Mesa, with a viewing one hour prior at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please remember East Valley Hospice. Meldrum Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Tonya, Thank-you for calling about Bonnie. She was such a good friend from way back. She had so many health trials over the years that should have taken her but she just refused to go. I had decided she would be here till the Millenium. Her favorite word was Wonderful. Sometimes when things aren't going well, I think, Bonnie would just say wonderful. Her other favorite word was buns. She was an angel, and now more so. What a good person.
