"Mission Hill, S.D. – Jeannie M. Ridenour, age 62, of Mission Hill, SD passed away Monday, February 12, 2007 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD.



Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Iverson-Siecke Funeral Home, Vermillion with Chaplain Tweeter Henseler officiating. Burial will be in Bluff View Cemetery, Vermillion. Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m., prayer service, at the Iverson-Siecke Funeral Home in Vermillion.



She was born on January 4, 1945 in Aberdeen, the daughter of Edward R. Gauer and Bertha Schaeffer. She graduated from Mesa High School in Mesa, AZ in 1963. She was employed at Dale Electronics of Yankton for 17 years. She was united in marriage to Francis E. Ridenour on February 14, 1981. He preceded her in death on August 1, 2006. She was a member of Moose Lodge, Yankton.



Survivors include her step-daughters, Sheryl Albrecht of Hutchinson, MN, and Shelli Ridenour of Mission Hill, SD; step-sons, Sam Nickel of Hartington, NE, Vern Fischer of Rothschild, WI, and Terry Fischer of Brainard, MN; her mother, Bertha Starner of Mesa, AZ; her sisters, Helen Rose of Victoria, TX, Sharon Coffenger of Tucson, AZ, and Katherine Gauer of Mesa, AZ; her brothers, Kenneth Gauer of California and Don Gauer of Nevada; ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.



She was preceded in death by her father, Edward R. Gauer and husband, Francis."
