MINOR, Michael J.Michael 72, of Mesa, Az "graduated" from this life on December 13, 2015. He was born on November 14, 1943 in Globe, AZ. He married Lovina Burk December 2, 1966, in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple. He served a two year mission for the LDS church in Canada. Michael spent the majority of his life in Mesa, Az. where he and Lovina raised seven children. Amongst his family he was affectionately known as the "wild man". Throughout his life he was very independent minded. He owned many businesses and was self employed his entire adult life. He was also very compassionate toward others and would always find ways to give even when he had very little himself. After his sweetheart of 48 years passed away his compassion and tender heart turned toward his children and he died concerned for their welfare. Michael is preceded by his wife Lovina Minor, parents Jefferson and Mary Bernice Minor and granddaughter Kyla Rae Anderson. He is survived by his seven children: Vincent Minor, Tara Treadway, Bucky Minor, Jayne Diewald, Marsha Quintana, Missy Anderson and Sunny Nevin; Sisters Ruthy and Becky, and brother Daniel Minor. There will be a viewing on December 18, 2015 from 7:00pm-8:30pm at the LDS chapel at 618 S. Signal Butte Rd. Then a short graveside service will take place at 1:00pm on December 19 in Eagar, Az.
